"I brought my K1200LT in a few days ago to fix a fuel leak problem that had developed on a vacation to Aspen. I had just had $3800 worth of work done to it at the dealership where I purchased it, and was very disappointed in the results. I stopped at another BMW dealership on the way back from vacation with the fuel leak problem and was told to bring it back the next day. At that point I was thinking about selling the motorcycle because it had BMW on it, and if that was the way I was going to get treated, then I would get rid of the problem. After I returned home I called your dealership, and was immediately told not to ride the motorcycle because of the danger of the fuel leak (the other dealer didn't mention that at all). Long story short, I have found a new BMW home. Your service department repaired the fuel leak, fixed a problem that the $3800 dealer caused, filled up the air pressure in my tires, and cleaned up my filthy motorcycle that had been on the road for 8 days. I have decided to keep the motorcycle, and just bring it to the right place. If another BMW rider ever asks, I'm pointing them in your direction. I would like to especially thank Jack and Arden that work in your service department for all of their help.

After getting the run around from San Diego BMW Motorcycles for 6 months on a handling problem, your service department (Jack and Crew) fixed the problem. I hated riding the bike and had contemplated trading it in, but since your team resolve the handling issue, I love the bike now. " First let me preface this letter with a simple statement. I have never written a business establishment concerning an experience, either pro or con, ever; however this is about to change.
Over the years both my wife and I have purchased a number of bikes from the north county dealership starting with it's humble beginnings as "Brecht BMW Motorcycles" in the old showroom, Rick Johns was working there at the time, I've seen a few iterations of the management come and go over the years but the service was always exceptional.
I wanted to share a recent experience with you. I brought my K1200LT in for a routine service, I noticed what I thought was a minor oil leak and asked Jack to have a look at it. Well it turned out to be the rear main seal and it was out of warranty by 3 months or so. The cost was over $1000! "Hold on", Jack said, "Let me talk it over with the customer service department and see what can be done. Perhaps they will split the cost with you."
They did better than that, much better! It was completely covered! I know it was Jack who convinced them to do so. The crew at BMW, Rick, Jack, Arden, CJ, and Craig are all great! Not only do I consider these guys good mechanics, I consider them good friends! Thanks guys!"

"Once again, this dealership has proved again to go beyond the call. I have been experiencing some intermittent issues with my '07 RT, and more serious was I thought I had been starting to see signs that the clutch was beginning to fail. Wanting a second opinion, I called up Jack (Service) and he indicated that it maybe that, but could be other drivetrain components, or other issue so better bring the bike in for an assessment. Later that same morning I rode down to the dealer, CJ took the bike for a spin soon after I arrived and within 15 minutes had diagnosed the most probable source to the problems the bike was having, booked an appointment for me, and offered to pick up and drop off the bike (OK, so we live in close proximity, but still....it is service beyond compare).
Thanks again to all the staff for providing such great, honest, and friendly service. #1 BMW M/C dealer in my book.

"Great ride to get there, great ride home. I went "cold turkey" to see if I might have a chance of getting my service done while I wait. arrived about 10:30. No problem ! As with all the BMW stores I have visited, there is always coffee etc to keep you awake. This store had an exceptional selection of apparel, from varried supliers. Before I had finished the "Friction Zone" article my bike was finished. Thanlyou."

"My service experience was outstanding. The staff was courteous, the service was done the same day! and service manager took the time to discuss my questions and explain everything that was done to my bike. I recently switched over to BMW motorcyles from another major brand and found thier customer service in service/parts depts disappointing at more than one dealer. "Bob and company are great people to work with. My wife and I have bought 4 bikes from BMWMNC and have always been treated fairly, and with respect, even when I rode a Harley.
Scott in service always tries to work us in, even on short notice. When I had a problem with a K1200GT and posted the problem on a BMW forum over a weekend, I don't how Bob found my post, but I a got a personal call from Bob on the following Tuesday and the problem was taken care of no questions asked. If you don't have a ride home they will loan you a bike.
Rick in parts has a good inventory of both parts and accessories, the best in SoCal. Lots of clothing and helmets to choose from at fair prices.
I am a impulse buyer, Bob and Phil always have the bike I'm looking for. These guys have the largest stock of new bikes and some excellent used bikes.
My wife and I ride most weekends and often during the week, it seems that most places we stop someone is asking about our bikes and where to shop in southern California for a BMW. Without question we tell then to stop and see the folks at BMWMNC. Bob and Phil always have bikes for demo rides and will take trade-ins. If nothing else just stop by and visit, there is always a group of friendly enthusiasts whom love to visit with everyone, even the cops are friendly too. Keep up the good work guys and girls."

"I justed wanted to state what an absolute pleasure my experience has been and continues today with BMW Motorcycles of North County since my initial purchase of my R1200RT. In summary, BMWMCNC is wall to wall fantastic service; whether from Rick in Parts, the Sales staff, or Scott and his great crew of service technicians.
This is a dealer that stands behind their promises from the time they hand you the keys. I recently had an electronic component go out (only failure after 49000 miles) and had an issue with my extended warranty. This dealer cleared up all the issues with the warranty company vs. having me deal with it personally and got the component quickly replaced. On top of that, I had coincidently injured my back and could not ride the bike so they offered to keep the bike in their warehouse until such time as I could pick it up. This is just one of many examples of why anyone considering the purchase or service of a BMW motorcycle should start and stop their search at BMW Motorcycles of North County.
You guys ROCK!
